I happened to be the firstborn among 7 brothers and sisters.

I was brought up by a very poor family.  My Dad was an only child.  My Grandfather passed away in 1943 when my Dad was only 4 yrs old during World War II.  My Grandmother became a widow and never remarried.  My grandparents came from China and they did not have any relative in Singapore.  My Grandmother was born in 1910.  She passed away on 16 May 2007 when she was 97 yrs old.

Name in Chinese:  新 嘉 坡 金 昇 西 学 校

My English Name:  Ang Kwang Luang

Ang is the pinyin of 洪，the meaning of 洪 is flood。  

My English Name consists of 3 FLOOD。

My whole family is flooded like “The Sea”。

Yvonne was a name I picked from the papers thrown to the air given by a female ex-colleague J when I was 19 yrs old.  I went to a nearby National Library to look for a dictionary to find out the meaning of Yvonne.  The meaning of Yvonne was BOW.  Bow reminds me of ARROW.  I was quite uneasy about using the name Yvonne after I found out the meaning.

Vicki & Victoria = Vicki was the only name I picked for myself in 1998 from a pocket dictionary I bought myself.  But, I didn’t know the meaning.  

In 2009, a neighbour market stall elderly uncle named Ricky.  In order not to confuse myself when the customers called Ricky,, I changed my name to Victoria, Vicki in full name.

Origin:Latin. Meaning:Victorious, victory. Of all the trendy variations of Victoria, Vicki’s got the most star power! Rooted in Latin, it means “victorious” or “victory.”   Google search.

Jesus foretold his 2nd coming:

27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Our government PAP is a symbol of “Lightning”.  It has been the city-state’s ruling political party since 1959.  I was born in the year of 1960.

  29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 

Tribulation – The ruling Japanese of Singapore (World War II)  left our land in 1945.

The flag of Singapore has the 5 Stars, one Moon and the Red as the background looks like the Sun.

When I was in school, I saw the Singapore Flag go up and down every day (Fall from heaven).
